Welcome to RVing for families hiking trails

The purpose for this portion of our website is to share with our visitors hiking trails that are suitable for children.  This is what RVing for Families is all about, families, which means children included.  Some hiking trails are very steep and rugged, and could be very dangerous for children.  Some hiking trails are narrow and instead of a steep hill along the side, some have a 1500 foot cliff, and we would certainly not considered these suitable for children.

Also while reviewing hiking trails, we will include information light paved trail suitable for wheelchair or stroller, and which trails are not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.  We are hoping to build a large repository of hiking trails for families, beginning with hiking trails in the Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, woodland Park area.

We hope you find this area of our website to be very useful for reference in planning your trips.  We hope you come back and visit often as we will expand on this area and all areas of our website as we get more accomplished.  Also if you have visited hiking trails that are not listed here, we invite you to join our yahoo e-mail group and share your hiking experiences with us.
